These are my favorite type of mornings to run outside with my camera and wait for the sun to come over the hill and turn everything to sparkling diamonds. Everyone else in the house thinks I'm nuts but I love it. :)
Several of my sunnier flowers are still going strong and surviving in spite of it. Sadly I can't say the same for that squash vine shown in the lower left corner. Ah well, they had a good run!

We had the same thing here last week. I could hardly wait to get out there with the camera and capture the plants frozen in time. Wonderful mosaic.
The frost has a magical look to it. I expect a fairy or two to jump out and fly!!!! Lovely images.

Same happened at my place, the good thing about it one can make a really nice mosaic with the fotos of the first frost. Greatings to Oregon!
We haven't had a freeze yet here in the Seattle-Tacoma area, but the sunflowers are looking a bit bedraggled nonetheless.
