New-to-me goodies

I'm not sure why but I've been obsessed really interested in finding an old pyrex mug to drink my coffee out of. My local Goodwill never has them. I've been looking for months and I just don't see them. But I went to visit my mom and at that Goodwill we found all kinds of goodies.

Like a mug I was wanting...


These salt and pepper shakers which are going into my tea party stash. I paid $2.99 for the pair, looked up the name online and found similar ones for $44.00. Um yes I believe I DO like my price better.


Speaking of tea parties, we also found this fun book.

Once we'd mined Goodwill for all she was worth we headed to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. These places sell donated items and give the money for the Habitat for Humanity cause. Click here for more information. The one we visited had a great selection of home improvement items of every kind.

I bought my friend a hook for her kitchen for 25 cents (no photo). These wooden caster wheels were 25 cents for the pair.


This light fixture cover was a dollar. It has a steampunk vibe to it and I'm going to make a display out of it. I'm loving that dome!
