A little Madness in the Spring,
Is wholesome even for the King...

Spring is always a bit mad isn't it? It makes me feel a bit crazy. Covered in blankets and sweaters one night and playing outside in the sunshine in just shirtsleeves another. We had snow last week and sunshine this week. Both are rare in the spring in my part of Oregon. (click mosaics to enlarge)

 Big fluffy clouds and flowers? I could just bottle that up!

I tried doing Mary's glittering, water-drop branches thing but her camera has a few more skills
than mine has. :)

Drowning us or freezing us or giving us a beautiful evening respite from "weather," spring definitely feels mad.

Bottom right - I found this and a handful of other poppy pods when cleaning out my poppy garden. Don't they have the most beautiful lacy skeletons? They look like tiny birdcages.

Spring is the Period
Express from God.
Among the other seasons
Himself abide,

But during March and April
None stir abroad
Without a cordial interview
With God.
