The sun in the morning and the moon at night

Do you know how hard it is to accomplish any kind of project when you live in a different house every week? My poor truck looks like I live in it - the backseat (extended cab, oh yeah, haha) is full of paper cutters, bags of felt, all my jewelry supplies, shipping supplies for things in my shop. Oh I forgot yarn and needles!

This week I'm on another farm and I get up early (no chickens here or I'd say I'm up with the chickens as my grandma used to say).

Good morning sun!
Well it's coming...almost there. :)

It's actually been clear skies at night too, hello moon!

I've got the moon in the morning too. ;)

And with clear skies comes c-c-c-cold.

I crunch across the lawn with the first light of day.

Followed by this. big. baby. (He was starting to look away, his eye is not normally scary like that)

Off to the barn to see the girls. I love that I caught her with her tongue out. They get alfalfa for breakfast and I have to admit it smells pretty good.

Okay, WARNING incredibly frightening image ahead!
I'm also feeding bulls and because it was so dark in the barn that early I used my flash and guess what? It lit up their eyes. I about scared the pants off myself when I uploaded this photo.
Ready?
Okay...
If you're sure.

*squeal!* That really freaks me out.

Okay on to happy things.
Um...oh yes! The title of the post. It's always this time of year when I'm thinking about all the STUFF people are scrambling to get. There's a line in Last of the Breed by Louis L'amour (good book) about how people really need very little so while I'm thinking about how much I don't need I think what I've got is pretty great! I've got the sun in the morning and the moon at night - and in complete cloud cover part of Oregon I live in, that's a big deal. :)

Ooh!
More of that gorgeous frost!

One of my favorite things is seeing the moon in a blue sky. I don't know why... maybe it is an oxymoron thing! :)
