The day I returned home from my vacation the skies opened up and poured sunshine on me so I walked around the yard with my inspection hat (that's figuratively speaking) on and was delighted to find things a-bloom. Daffodils, violas, grape hyacinths and forsythia with plenty more on the verge. I can't wait until that forysythia really gets going it is absolutely loaded with blossoms!
My sympathies for everyone still buried in snow and freak weather!

As a side note, there is a drainage pond on one end of my field.
It is the farthest you can get from my house and still be on the same property. And yet, listen to how noisy the frogs are at night! (you may have to turn up your volume)

Love your mosaic and those frogs are loud to be that far off. We have a spring fed pond next to our house and I love when the frogs start croaking at dusk that is a sign of spring coming. I haven't heard them hear yet, but it won't be long.
I'm in Idaho and travel to Oregon several times a year and just love it. Came over for Mosaic Monday. Nice to meet ya, chickee!

Oh! I'm jealous! I wish we had blooming bulbs someplace else than the grocery store! No snow here, but freaky weather is our middle name. I LOVE frogs and their evening calls. Fun!

You're a little ahead of us. In Gig Harbor, a few buds on the azaleas are beginning to show a hint of colors and I noticed some early jonquils in bloom half a block away. Our frogs haven't started serenading yet, but they will soon. I love the renewal implicit in spring.
Those frogs may be loud, they sounds so peaceful at the same time.
I can't wait for all the snow to melt here so I can get a peek of flowers coming up too. :(
We have to wait a while before spring will arrive here. It is sooo cold. I can't wait to see the forsythia, our first indication that spring has arrived!
