Mosaic Monday - waterlogged

It's been great weather if you're a duck! (A literal duck, nothing sports team related)

I had an actual stream going from the garden, across the driveway and creating a little babbling brook into the drainage ditch (see video below). The dog and I played in the puddles while I hid under my flower umbrella, pant legs rolled up to my knees. It was fun, I have to admit. :)

Be sure to visit Little Red House to see all the beautiful mosaics!

I know the feeling. It wouldn't have been so bad here if we didn't have so much snow still on the ground when the rain came. Of course the rain and warmer temps liquified that and we had a double dose of the wet stuff. On the bright side though... the snow is gone and we can pretend this isn't the tundra for a little while.

Not nice to be waterlogged! But a very nice photos. You are really imaginative to make a mosaic of them. We still have lots of snow here. Happy New Year!

You did such a good job of capturing the rain in your photos and certainly in the video! It all made for a really nice change of scenery for Mosaic Monday.

We have had a bit of rain here in West Texas, but not enough for a babbling brook, and no snow...yet! Some winters we don't have any...I kinda look forward to it though! Just not a blizzard like the NorthEasterns had in December!

Great shots! I love puddles! Maybe not streams :) We have tons of melting, dirty snow, so pretty at first!
Happy New Year!

Crisp, cold and sunny here - but I know that more rain is just around the corner, so I'll just wait for it!

Is it sad how comforting I find that video? Because I do find it comforting. *happy sigh*

Didn't you just have a bunch of snow? We had rain here for a couple of days and temperatures in the above zero celcius, which is WEIRD for Montreal in January. Most of our snow has washed away, it's still piled in places, but this means our next storm won't be as bad. ;)

Ah... if it were to rain warm enough to play outside in it here... ^-^ That would be lovely! Sadly it's snow or sleet when it comes down this time of the year around here...

It's been a little soggy here too, and now all the snow is gone and the ground is squishy! Have to wipe Duchess' paws every time she comes in! Lovely mosaic! Cathy

Rain and being able to roll up the pants legs would be great. We have cold and snowflurries. Have a great week.

Wow, that is a lot of water. For as much snow as we had then the warm weather, we haven't had any flooding.
