Tell me I'm not the only one who is secretly amused at all this talk of
going green. I understand that to some this concept may be new but isn't it what we financially challenged people have been doing the whole time out of necessity?
So in honor of Earth Day or, in my house, Every Day, here are some past projects in the spirit of the idea:
How about a
bare bulb chandy made from an old lamp shade part, dental floss, price stickers and ancient acrylic beads?

i LOVE love ALL of these projects! i think i have to try some of them. you're an amazing and very 'green' pirate lady!!!
Not to mention painted cereal gift boxes, scrap cardboard table top Christmas trees, scrap paper flowers, scrap fabric flowers, reusing tissue and pattern paper in art, dying fabric and paper with old tea bags, making recycled paper beads, turning old CDs into clocks... BTW I love the cardboard and moss spheres!
